Nov. 3 (UPI) --Health Canada is introducing a new cholesterol medicine that has helped millions of Canadians suffering from heart disease, the government said on Tuesday.
The new drug is called Nexium, which is an anti-cholesterol medication that acts by blocking the cholesterol that causes plaque in the arteries, according to the Canadian Drug Agency.
"It's important to note that this drug has not yet been approved by the FDA," said Dr. Peter R. Fonseca, the agency's acting commissioner.
The new drug, developed by AstraZeneca, is known as Zetia, which was approved in the U. S. in 2002. In May this year, the drug was also approved for use in Canada, where it is still under development.
The new drug is similar to the cholesterol-lowering agent Crestor, the first statin to be approved for this purpose. However, Crestor is approved for use in the U. S., and is already available in Canada.
AstraZeneca's Zetia is a new version of Crestor, called Enalapril, which was originally developed by AstraZeneca.
The drug is called Nexium, which was first developed in the U. and is marketed in Canada. The company is testing Nexium in the U. S., which means it's available in Canada for up to 20 years.
The drug is used in the treatment of people with heart failure, but it is also used in the treatment of patients with cancer and other health problems.
The new drug will be available in pharmacies across the country, including in Canada and the U.
In the first quarter of 2024, the drug was estimated at $13 billion, according to the Canadian drug agency, and its U. sales totaled $1.3 billion.
The company said that the number of Canadians who took Nexium for a year and a half was expected to be around 1.1 million. It also said that the drug was being sold in stores, with a price tag of $6.95 a tablet.
The drug was developed by AstraZeneca and was originally tested for cardiovascular disease in patients with coronary artery disease, the drug's label said.
However, the drug's manufacturer, Abbott Laboratories, did not say whether it had yet approved the drug for other uses.
AstraZeneca is working with a Canadian regulatory body to approve the drug for use in the U. It is also testing the drug in other countries, including the U. and Canada.
The drug's lab has been called the "New Caledonia-type cholesterol medicine" and is being called the "Lausanne-type cholesterol medicine" in Canada, according to the agency.
Dr. Peter F. Lechleiter, an endocrinologist at Ontario-Presbyterian Hospital, said that while the drug has some "potential benefits for heart disease," it's "unfortunate to be so short-circuit."
He said the drug's U. marketing authorization has already been rejected in Europe because of the side effects of the cholesterol drug.
The FDA is considering an advisory panel on the new drug's use in Canada and the U. S., as well as its U. marketing approval for other uses.
Nexium (Nexium), which is also marketed in Canada as Zetia (Esomeprazole) or Nexium XR (Lipitor), was first approved in the U.In Canada, it is approved for use in the treatment of people with cancer and other health problems and is also being marketed for use in the treatment of high blood pressure and other heart failure.
The drug's label said the drug is used to lower the risk of cardiovascular disease. It also said that "the drug is not intended for the general population as such, but as a preventive measure for patients with certain risk factors such as high blood pressure and high cholesterol."
The new drug, which is sold under the name Nexium, was developed by AstraZeneca and is being tested in various laboratories.
Zetia (Esomeprazole) is a newer cholesterol drug developed by AstraZeneca.Nexium 40 mg tablet contains 20 mg of Nexium which is used in the treatment of gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD).

Nexium (esomeprazole) is a prescription drug that treats heartburn, stomach pain and indigestion. Nexium works by blocking acid from the stomach, which helps heal damage that happens when the acid from the stomach is too strong. Nexium is also used to treat symptoms of gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), ulcers, and stomach ulcers. Nexium is available by prescription only, and you should never take Nexium to treat any health conditions, including heartburn, stomach pain, indigestion, and acid reflux. Nexium is a prescription drug and should only be taken under the supervision of a doctor, and it is not recommended to use it for prolonged or repeated periods of time. It is not recommended to take Nexium for longer than prescribed, and it is not recommended to take it for more than a few days without consulting your doctor. You should not take Nexium if you have had stomach ulcers or bleeding problems after taking Nexium. Nexium should not be taken for more than 14 days. It may take several days to heal damage to the esophagus after taking Nexium.
Nexium is an acid blocker that blocks the action of H2 receptors in the stomach, which can help heal damage caused by acid reflux. It works by blocking the production of stomach acid in the stomach, which prevents acid from flowing out. It also blocks the action of the H+/K+-ATPase in the stomach to help heal damage that happens when acid in the stomach gets too strong. This makes Nexium effective for many different conditions.
